“ I eat like a food critic so I totally ordered 4 things for myself! This space used to be Miyabi, RIP, I will miss it forever, but washoku is a worthy replacement. They are excellent. My first dish was spicy tuna on crispy rice. I love that the rice is only delicately crispy in the outside, soft inside, a very delightful, rich and creamy appetizer. Highly recommended. Next is the bone marrow. I like the sauce they use but it is a messy eat, and it didnt come with chips or something, so you eat the marrow by itself which was a bit too rich. So I would give it average rating. Next the snow crab chawanmushi, this one is the highlight for me, it is excellent, umami but very fluffy and light. It is rich but doesnt fill you up. One of the best Ive ever had. Lastly is the spicy tonkotsu ramen, also excellent. Such rich, decadent broth albeit a touch salty to me. They dont skimp in making this. I noted edamame in the broth too. The noodles were perfectly cooked, so was the egg. The pork was very thinly sliced and with just a slight char was a nice touch. Portion is a bit small but because of how rich it is, I think its ok. It will fill you up. This is a great restaurant and I foresee it being very, very popular, very soon. Give it a try!! I do wish they have cocktails and not just beer and sake though. Right now they have a 5 bucks off 50, my meal came to 51, so under 50 total for all that. Edit so we have been coming here pretty much weekly now and they have learned of me and my daughter lol we have ordered more things so I have more to recommend. The yakitori is 8 bucks for 2, its got this fried garlic topping that is delicious, get it. The spicy tuna handroll is more like a taco with the seaweed as shell, its a tad messy but still excellent. I loved the miso glazed bass, it was perfectly grilled, but its seasonal and currently its salmon and just not as great. I also enjoy their seasonal ramen, right now its this braised pork belly thats a touch salty, but rich and really filling as the ramen topping, Id give it 810. I tried the beef tongue gyoza, and I feel like the premise is good but its not as as I expected. It was not beefy enough like how one expect tongue to be. The sauce was also too salty. 610. All in all I still love this place, you can tell they made everything with love. More edit Been coming here for a while now. Have to add in new recommendations Crispy rice spicy tuna, chawanmushi, chicken croquettes, tantan ramen, miso cod, miso clams get this with rice so u can drink the broth lol. For reals, I dont know how everything they make is so good. I love that their items are also seasonal, such as the chawanmuchi topping, it changes. ”
“ This is what love tastes like. Best curry Ive had in my entire life. It was quiet when we walked in, appearances on the outside didnt scare me off. It is beautiful on the inside, authentic vibes. The food is unique, cleantasting. Even the simple house salad is remarkable, the gyoza exquisite and juicy. Perfect, and personal. For families, or just yourself alone. ”
“ We came for lunch on a recommendation from a friend. 5 of us came for lunch. We were all surprised by the excellent flavor of the food. We eat Japanese food often enough to know we usually get decent but average American Japanese food. This was way better than that. I had the hambagu with curry. The patty was cooked perfectly and obviously home made with onion bits mixed in. The curry was spicy and sweet, maybe not as much curry. Others had the Ironyaki hambagu and one salmon. Everyone enjoyed the flavors. No leftovers! Service was excellent too. Well be back! ”
“ Welldecorated spot with delicious appetizers. The safest one is the chicken skewer which was, tender, fragrant, and flavorful. Food I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen which can have either a spicy or garlic broth. There is no modifier to the spice. If you are used to spicy tuna, it is around that level. Service The waitress was attentive, friendly, and offered recommendations. Water was refilled and we were checkon regularly. I will definitely swing by again when Im in the area! ”
“ This restaurant is wonderful. The food is high quality and delicious. I have eaten here numerous times and have never been disappointed. The service is great and everyone I have brought here has also loved it. My favorite is the Chicken Katsu Curry. It is sweet, spicy, and savory. Highly recommended. ”
“ Wonderful little Ramen spot. Ordered chicken katsu curry and Tonkastu Ramen both of wich we delicious very flavorful Ramen broth. Was sharing with another person hence the double silverwear in the food. Serverhostess was friendly and very attentive. Definitely worth stopping by. ”
“ Cute little Japanese restaurant in the quiet corner of the shopping center. Nice relaxing and quiet environment. Our server was so polite and attentive. She took our orders quickly and our food came out just as quick. We ordered the gochujang bao, spicy tuna crispy rice, california roll, chicken katsu curry and tantan curry. We loved the spicy tuna crispy rice! It was my favorite. The curry was so hot and comforting! We will definitely return to try more of the menu. We spent 40 per person because we each got an appetizer plus a California roll. ”
“ Great tasting Ramen and sushi here. Also super nice and quick service. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend the spicy tuna crispy rice for appetizers. ”
